Very good point if I knew you moved on from MOD I wouldn't ask but I'm still looking forward

Exactly, what's important is to bring back the atmosphere of UT99 soundtrack.

they did a very good job on remixing our favourite tracks

Dont get me wrong, these guys did a good job in remixing. But they weren't the reason I got into DnB and pretty much most types of electronica music.

              Wow, Michiel!

If you'll allow me to go to fanboy mode for just a moment...

I was just thinking last night - "man it'd be cool if they could get Michiel back for the new UT, that music made the game what it was for me... nah they'll never get him... he's with the gods now".

Been in game dev for 9 years now and I still quite often listen to the UT music tracks while I work (most of them yours, the rest Alexanders). Nothing like sitting down to do some modeling or unrealscripting with skyward, run, or foregone looping over and over I don't think I could pick a favourite.

Ok fanboy mode off now. Hope I haven't creeped you out. But seriously, make some music!

Just registered to say this: the original music in Unreal and Unreal Tournament was almost 50% of the experience, so yes, please, Alexander Brandon and Michiel van den Bos must be in on the project.

The original UT soundtrack was an inspiration to me on my own composing career. I have praised Michiel's and Alexander's music in UT for as long as I can remember to everyone I've had a chat about game music with. Also love the original Deus Ex soundtrack to death!

I want to thank both of you for being such awesome composers as you were and still are and being such a source of inspiration to me. I wish Epic realizes that the experience you have is vital to providing the right feel for the new game. No generic hollywood music please!

This was done by you? If so, thank you for the nerdchills.

Even if you don't end up being involved in the project, thank you for bringing some much atmosphere to the game.

It was. I was completely obsessed by atmospheric drum & bass at the time, and this was the result

My favorite track from UT, simply atmospheric.

By the way, I've always imagined similar tunes for the next UT (I hope this is not blasphemy)

Yet, still the best are the original UT composers!

I just registered to say this, I'd love to see Alexander Brandon get involved with the soundtrack of the new UT. Part of what made the UT experience so amazing was the immersive soundtrack.
