MIni-Gun sounds awful

    Ah gotcha. Yeah, I wanted an auditory indication on when the primary gun was ready to fire after the secondary fire was fired. The sound is coming from the gun and not so much as part of the "firing" sound. I really like this feature, but the execution can be changed in the future.

      Hi Max, thanks for making your sounds and also listening for feedback.

      My main feeling is that a lot of sounds feel very "under water". Sometimes I think they sound different in the editor to the game?

      I think that they generally need a bit of initial punch when initially fired to make them all more powerful feeling. The unique sound effects could come immediately after that, but a full arsenal of punchy weapons feels good.

      I'd like to also see the sound of a rocket launch become more obvious. Most of the time I can hear the rocket projectile but not the launching of the rocket - which sometimes makes it hard to even know you'd been hit until they've got a second hit in. Maybe there also needs to be a more obvious sound for when the rocket locks onto you too?
      Current Main Issues: Tri-Rox (Remove), Scoreboards lack player stats,Team Balance.

        By "Under water" feel I take it you mean that the sound is sounding pretty muffled or muddied perhaps? That can be the sound itself or the mixing that is being done during gameplay. Currently there are sounds that take priority over others in terms of volume and that may be the cause.

          I think it probably is the in-game mixing as the game has always had this "bubbled" feel to it. Perhaps it's something that can be tweaked in the future.

            The minigun sound from the predator are pretty much the closest thing that are used as an inspiration for the coolest minigun sounds.
            Even UT99 had something close to it.
