    Can't run in Multimonitor setup in 2/1 build

    Ubuntu 14.04
    Geforce GTX 950
    NVIDIA driver: 346.96 (but colleague with same problem with version 352.63)

    I have a 3-monitor setup and I used to be able to play with all screens on, but as of this build I am unable to. When I open UT4 on the middle screen, the mouse pointer seem to get stuck on the far left and far right side. Other colleagues with a two monitor setup appear to have the same problem.

    If anyone can recommend a good method to record the screen including the mouse pointer, I would be able to make a small video of the problem.

    1. When you are playing the game What Screen Resolution are you running with and what Display Mode (Windowed, WindowFullScreen, Fullscreen)?
    2. When you launch the game are you Running the Test Client or the Shipping Client?
    3. When you run the game, are you using -OpenGL?

      I am having the same problem in a two monitor setup. The mouse cursor gets trapped to the right of the screen and I can't move it to click on anything.

      To answer the questions above:

      1. Can't tell, it's whatever the default is.
      2. Shipping client, Test won't run at all.
      3. No. I tried to and it made no difference.

      Of note, when the game starts the cursor is in the middle of the screen, but as soon as you move it it jumps to the right and stays there. Sometimes it also jumps up and down the right side of the screen.

          1. It is defaulting to fullscreen, setup is 3x 1080p monitors in horizontal.
          2. Happens with both binaries.
          3. Happens regardless of OpenGL switch - with and without, GL shaders are generated and the screen is rendering fine, just the mouse cursor is being constrained to one side while highlighting menu options seems to be happening as if the cursor were on the left side when its actually on the right, and moving the cursor off the game window loses its focus.

                To reproduce, open the game on Linux with more than one monitor. Pretty sure the window is obeying the window system alignment but the cursor is using absolute coordinates across all displays so they do not line up.

                  We just noticed that this only happens when the primary monitor is not the leftmost screen.

                      Having this exact same issue.

                      I have a 1920x1080 monitor on the left, a 2560x1080 monitor on the right. Bios sees the left monitor as 'primary', Kubuntu and Nvidia driver also recognize that way.

                      When I launch the game, it appears to go 'full screen' just on the right-most monitor, taking up the full 21:9 with the menu. Nothing shows on the left monitor game-related. The menu itself, though, is 'centered' between the two, and the mouse cursor only moves around on the right monitor in a gray band on the far right. The mouse registers clicks, though, as if it's in the menu proper, and i'm able to click on a couple things in the menu, but not get over to the settings gear icon to attempt to fix this!

                      If I could specify a constraint on launch for which monitor to spawn/recognize on, or just start in windowed mode, this would help immensely. I'm very aware this is an alpha, and such growing pains will happen given the billions of configurations out there

                        I have been able to reproduce this on my end thanks to your help. Bug is currently on a dev and the workaround can be viewed there as well. Here is the link so that you can keep track of it.

                          I came here from this thread https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtour...rm-unclickable and followed your link to the bug report https://unrealtournament.atlassian.net/browse/UT-2888, registered at atlassian, but my new login can not access this bug report !?

                          Isn't the description wrong to reproduce the issue? Shouldn't it be "2. Make sure that the left most monitor is NOT primary"

                          Also it may be necessary to launch compiz. At least for me, the issue occurs only with compiz, as metacity forces the game on the leftmost display, where the issue does not occur.

                          //Edit: well, just when writing the last sentence, I got the glorious idea to switch from windowed mode to fullscreen when running in metacity mode: with metacity this issue does not occur, though the game is running on my middle display now (where the issue occurs in compiz mode)!
