    [BUG] SOLVED Hmm now i cant start the game either

    This is kind of weird. As of today I cannot start the game.
    I can start the launcher (and i have verified it) but when i press the "Launch"-button it takes about a second, and then i get an error message. ("An Unreal process has crashed")

    The only crash report data there is contains of MachineId and EpicAccountId. and then it says "No minidump found for this crash."

    Anyone have any idea?

    I've checked for lavasoft-issues but nothing there.

    I found a file called "EpicGamesLauncher.log". Guess there could be an answer hiding in there?

      Yep pc and launcher have been rebooted.

      The first line in the log file that seems to contain any error as far as i can understand is the fllowing:

            Did this happen since a launcher update? If you sign out of launcher and select the globe from the sign-in window, is language set to "Default"?

              Thanks for your efforts Henrik,

              I managed to find the failing piece. Ok this is really weird now.

              I read about a solution that included deleting the "Saved" folder....so i backed up my old Saved folder and tried .... The game created a new Saved folder and it works! But...and here comes the weird part.
              I compared the new Saved folder vs the old one and naturally they differ quite a lot. After tons of trial and error i found the one single file that made the game unable to start.

              It was a .pak file located in : C:\Users\xyz\Documents\UnrealTournament\Saved\Paks\DownloadedPaks
              I downloaded it last night after having finished playing.

              It is just 1k in size (a map that is erroneus in some way) and removing this little file solves the problem.

              Hope this helps devs and players.
