    They released a new build today.
    This build solves the weapons fire crash for non dx11 video cards.

    Doesn't seem like the "weapons fire" crash that is discussed here. Maybe you should start a separate thread for your random crash?

    Ut crashes while playing - radeon hd7970

    i've some random crashes on Radeon HD7970, which supports DX11.2:

    my clan mate has the same issue.

    i just thought if there is maybe a command one of the ini-files where DX10 users could turn off the impact effects rather than setting: showflag.decals to 0, where basicly the entire screen turns black. anyone got a hint?

    This should be fixed next time we do a build. You won't get weapon decals on DX10, though. Unsure if the engine team is going to create a fallback path or not.

    ...but I can confirm that, yes, first shot crashes.

    You may not be aware, that many of us use the UTDarkest theme, and the color code you used for your highlighted text blends in with the background. If I may suggest, please use a color other than gray for highlighting text. This will make it easier for everyone to see the text. Thanks!

    For me they are:
    Enforcer - both
    Rocket launcer - both
    Flack - second fire only
    Sniper - primary will crash but zoom does not
    Shock rifle - primary fire only

    Yep, first time. Seems like it crashes when there's impact. (for example if you aim at the sky with Flack and shoot it only crashes when ammo is hitting the floor.)
