Need help downloading Unreal Tournament with Git Bash

Hi all, I'm having a lot of trouble with downloading the latest Unreal Tournament build and getting it to work with the recently released Unreal Engine 4.5. I'm using Unreal Engine 4.5 from the Unreal Launcher. I can get the GitHub GUI client to work as it crashes all the time, and I tried Git Bash as well, and it won't connect to the SSH or even download it for me. When I open the main project file for Unreal Tournament in Unreal Engine, it gives me multiple errors messages. Can someone help me step-by-step on downloading the Unreal game and getting it to work with the official Unreal Engine 4.5 build?
I love Gaming, Computers, 3D Graphics, and ultimately I love Unreal Tournament and Unreal Engine!

    Hey there,

    Have a look at:

If you're having problems with the github gui (most people do) use git bash in the following way:

change to the directory you wish to download UnrealTournament:

    cd Desktop/UnrealTournament

Download UnrealTournament (Enter user/pass when prompted):

    git clone

    when it's cloned, do:

    git config credential.helper store

    git pull

Pop your user/pass in again and you should be good to go. When you wish to update, cd to the UT dir again and do git pull.

Thanks for this thread.... did not want to continually download the forever increasing in size zip files so wanted to clone it... never got it working through the github program. but am currently downloading through command prompt following your instructions, and its actually using reasonable speed... 600-800kb/s instead of 30-60kb/s.
