    Linux client, HUB frozen

    Hi,

    have latest linux client, if click random join quick whatever, no problems it search for game, found some and join in... flawlessly...

    but if i click play, join hub, it freeze couple seconds later...

    here is output

    //////////// also sometime when I play and reach some 'level' or something, it display me error something like that my progress cant be saved in MCP or something like that...

    is there a command i can run like
    $ ./UE4-Linux-Shipping UnrealTournament andheresomeIP or something in order to join server of a friend ? Asking since join via ip button is frozen when I try it via HUB...

    more output, this time just by clicking QUICK PLAY DM... sometime it is working... sometime not... when not, i restart whole client, n then is fine for some random period of time...

      btw is there cli command fom linux or unreal console ' ~ ' to join some game via IP if i know ip n port, how to join via cli >? pls... since hub is frozen i cant click that button join via ip... pls

        My solution for the MCP errors is:

        1. Launch game.
        2. Click Play --> Join Hub.

        Any other action (change settings, play bot match, etc.) usually results in an MCP error which results in empty HUB/Server browser (Join Hub).

        So, if I do perform other action(s), I quit game, restart, goto #2 above.
        No one sees what tomorrow knows.

          Do I have to mess up with my firewall ? and this que just got filled in and screen froze (music still looping but nothing else is clickable on a interface)

            One possibility I see is:

            In my log it shows "I am [my user name] (192.....)"

            Is your user name "whistecastle.dynaphase.loc"?

            I know very little about IP addressing & internal/external networks, but the 10.0.0.101:0 might indicate a Network Address Translation (NAT) or Proxy issue.

            At this point I'm in over my head. Sorry.
            No one sees what tomorrow knows.

              I get a libcurl error, out of memory and that likely results in the MCP error that I get. I have an up to date F24x64. I am able to play the game offline with bots. Is this a problem with libcurl?

                Bobba I had same issue, and then reinstaled another curl and I am able to play online like I said just by quick mach icon on main screen... anything other, eg view hubs, etc results in frozen screen with music in loop...

                darksky, whitecastle is my rig under my localdomain dynaphase.loc , honestly I do not know why this Login init BSD understanding my hostname as my username ??? Something that epic guys should look at ?
