    Clinging to the edges when hold jump button

    As in Prince of persia DOS game, clinging to the edge of surface (flat or non-flat) if hold jump button, there are no walls close and soldier fall from height. Soldier cling to the any edge near him. Damage 50% of fall down to the surface damage from any height. Any weapon in the right hand allows cling to the edge of surface, except big super weapons like redeemer or this super weapons falls out of hands when soldier cling. Soldier automatically gets to his feet on the edge of surface.

    Wall run should work with that ability in theory even if wall run activation is possible when soldier falls down after the jump.

    You can't fall off an edge if you're crouching.

      Maybe I wrote something wrong. Why crouching?

      After press jump button - player raises himself and fall down. If player fell to the surface in air now with holding jump button nothing will happen. But if the fall near the surface edge and hold the jump button the player cling of the edge of the surface and pull yourself back to top. It works if hold jump button, feet touched once surface edge zone in air and the body fell to the level of the head near surface edge zone. Otherwise if the player jump (with hold jump button) on surface edge down up the action will not be activated, because feet do not registered touch with a surface edge. Player can not climb the hill that requires jump boots or rocket jump. Valid action only from the top down when the second down phase of the jump is active. And it does not interfere wall run. Crouch button not used there. Clinging to the edges not works if hold crouch button, because crouch is a tactic action and replaces jump action.

      Pull yourself back to top action requires 2-3 seconds. If the jump button is released at this moment soldier unhooking the surface edge and decreases the fall dawn height and damage, but use some second for it (minimum 1 second). It perhaps can not works with bevelled surfaces rough, z-axis surface or rocky e.g., but works especially where there are edges handrails (as in UT3 or most UT series surface edges) on flat surfece.

      Now as I understand walls is not surface adges and holding jump button not used when player falls down from the height in the air. This ability can be a bonus, if you want to reduce the range of a one single tap dodge.
