    Thanks for the heads-up. I'll study the blueprint system based on what you just said and will share my findings with everyone interested in creating a custom animated crosshair.

    Can already be done in UT4. Take a UTCrosshair blueprint and then override the 'DrawCrosshair' function to add more complex functionality to it.

    All DrawCrosshair does ordinarily is call Canvas->DrawColor and Canvas->DrawIcon.

    I had a quick search and only found three threads with animated crosshairs mentioned, which is why I started this thread.
