Epic Games Launcher : Show download/install size & speed

    Hello,

I am new to this community and just installed the Epic Games launcher and I'm currently installing UT pre-alpha. I've been a long-time fan of the game series and almost fell into despair when I thought you guys weren't going to make more UT games. Luckily I was wrong

One thing that I just noticed was that when I started installing the game I didn't have any indication on how big the install size is. I only get the percentage of the download's current state. A speed indicator would also be nice ("569kBps, 157Mb of 5,8Gb) or something similar.

I'm sorry if this was posted into the wrong forum category. I couldn't find a better place to write this in.

Thanks for creating this game and keep up the good work! =)

I'll pass this along to the launcher team. We don't have much control over it.

If you could also pass on a request for the launcher to be able to have some sort of bandwidth-limiting feature, that would be awesome of you.

Ideally, it would be available as something that can be manually selected. So if I know my internet can handle 5000KB/s (yay Australian internet), and my housemate is watching YouTube/Netflix, and I want to play something online at the same time, I could set the Epic Launcher to limit itself to using 1000KB/s and know the thing would be ready eventually.
As opposed to the current method of trying to update a game and not having a single person in the house, including myself, be able to use the internet because the Epic Launcher is being unstoppably greedy with the internet bandwidth.
