    The Flak that I saw in action on your videos (http://ut.raxxy.com/) doesn't appeal to me for a few reasons (sorry). It takes too much visual overview/focus away when you shoot. Second it seemes to lag the FPS which really worries me since there was no graphic details or enemies involved ; How much would it lag with textures, lighting, enemy models, enemies moving and shooting...

    But keep up the good work, im happy to see people working hard on the weapons.

      Just to answer the lag thing, UE4 uses a lot of system resources. You are then running the game client on top of that and finally video capture on top of that. Also optimization is non existent at this stage.

            Great start Nick! I agree that the primary fire looks a little slow. Another concern I have is that the shards might have too long of a lifespan - that is, they seem to last several "bounces" longer than in previous installments. But besides that, it looks great!

                      The flak cannon IS and must remain a close quarters weapon, and as such it should be easy to dodge at greater distances.

                        There was an update to the prototype on the git today.

                        I think someone got carried away.

                        Any lag you're seeing in these videos is because I'm capturing at 2560x1440 (saw some comments earlier), that doesn't exist when I'm not capturing.
