    Sniper / lightning gun projectile damage followthrough

    Would it be possible to make sniper/LG projectile continue it's path if target dies/or gets gibbed/or only when carrying AMP. Then remaining damage (or even full damage?) would be applied to next players in the line of fire behind the first target. So bit similar to quake railgun, but the damage would not go through if absorbed by the first player.

    I think it could be really cool for TDM/CTF, since I don't think players line up too often that it would matter in game balance point of view. It would be cool to get a double kill with just one shot.

    What do you guys think?

    Yeah, cool idea. As you said, it probably won't affect balance too much since it would happen rarely.

      I'm on board. People loved this aspect of Halo's sniper, so no reason to think they wouldn't love it in UT as well.

      Plus, there's a gun that shoots goo... only makes sense to have one that shoots thru people

        Yeap, I don't see why not. It's only going to be useful for those frag of the week videos, but that's fine.
