    Linking Launcher to UT installation

Hey folks, recently re-installed windows, but kept my UT install on a different HDD. I've re-installed the epic launcher, but can't seem to locate a setting to link it to the game directory... Is there an option for this other than re-downloading the game?

Well, I'm not sure if it's possible to link the launcher to the UT installation, but you could just create a direct shortcut to start UT without the launcher and use them separately (or not use the launcher at all). All you have to do is create a shortcut of UE4-Win64Shipping.exe and put UnrealTournament at the end of the Target field in properties.

Cheers, I just redownloaded it anyway. Didn't realise it was only 4GB.

There isn't a way. I asked on the Epic Answer hub.

I needed it more for UT editor which was 20gb
Another crazy idea brought to you by richardboegli ;P

Set a fresh download going, cancel it after 1-2%, exit launcher. Rename newly created folder, bring in your old one and name it as what launcher expects. Re-open launcher, Verify installation.
