    GL is as bad as bio launcher was. Reminder, this weapon was replaced of all tournaments so I think it was clear.

    Mini sec and death cam are bad joke. Halloween spirit to make us scared ?

    Mouse sensitivity feels different. I dont know why.

      Ive been diggin the mini secondary, not as much as the original one, but this has some cool niche uses and shock primary has a knock back so the redundancy wasn't exactly necessary.

        Play against bots then play against other online members

        Networking has gotten worse. I played a few matches against all bots last night doing DM. Today I went back to playing against other players and the tiny lag n stutter re-appeared. I thougth I was going crazy so I tested against bots last night, and sure enough when I played against other players the tiny lag and stutter re-appeared. Guessing it's the networking but it could be other factors involved.

          Yet again I wonder why Elimination isn't part of the core build. Quite a few of us are just waiting for the super cool Absolute guys to get it working again

          Overall game feels spammier than before, but I'll judge again after catching up on some sleep. I actually liked the last build, which I couldn't say about the 10 or so before that.

            well, my game is officially ruined due to only being able to toggle my x-loc. I don't know what it was hurting to have that one extra line in the control menu to bind it permanently. Or if not, then at least make it part of one of the weapons groups...please?? I have noticed though that you have fixed it to where i can use it as a weapon like the old days!! It is awesome just running right through someone with that thing. Also, yes I agree with the others that we need the secondary fire with the rocket launcher back, and I don't know about anyone else, but what ever happened to the speed talisman, and hardly any maps have the invisibility one either. I kind of think the shields look a little too cheap and small too, but that is just nitpicking.

                - Bug: If you run out of ammo after firing Grenade Launcher secondary, the game switches to another weapon, so you have to manually switch back to Grenade Launcher to detonate the bombs, which is quite annoying.
                - Bug: 100 armor icon does not show properly on minimaps.
                - Bug [Editor]: Level name, Author and Description disappear from World Settings every time you save a map under a different name.

                This one was an engine update so all maps have to be recooked and tested again. Guess it will take some more time...

                  Link secondary is the most op weapon now. Super fast way to kill 100hp guy.

                    Epic already answered why Elimination isn't in the core build in another thread. It's another whole gametype that they would have to test, maintain, and QA which is the last thing they need with the micro team they have working on UT. They felt it would be iterated much faster with the community team working on it. I'm sure Scoob will get it back in the game shortly.

                      Exactly. I had a hard session on Spooky Face today and some bot killed me while I was mid-air translocating within a second. 100+HP thanks to pumpkins.

                        You can set it in the menus still, its just cut off the screen a bit. Check the other thread in this forum regarding this. Its there.

                          Flak is fine, its an up-close weapon - that's what its for, maybe could be reduced just a bit but only if the hitscans are fixed. Shock is OP, minimum damage/radius needs reducing. Sniper is OP too and its infuriating. At least we need the helmet back. I don't get why we have instant hit high damage hitscans, that is very broken. No matter how much you dodge, its easy to snipe. They need to require more skill, like have distance based ballistics or something if thats the kind of damage they will deal. It is really bad the way they are now, its just point, click and win -- the enemy has no chance really if you can aim. Battles are more fun IMO.

                          The game is not bad though, the game is amazing, best one there is, really.

                            I finally played a bit... and had a few conclusions:

                            The translocator seems to have just got a new bind for Translocator / Powerup and it works like normal for me again. I thought this was going to be a game-breaker!
                            The link gun primary fire overheats far too fast. Is it barely enough to kill someone at close range... and probably can't kill a 199-150 player.
                            Rockets are still over-powered and Flak is still over-powered.
                            Flag run was very spammy and rocket dominated
                            Spawn delays and the zooming in still feels pointless and frustrating
                            Forcing all binds is stupid.
                            Armor levels are clearer

                            I also wondered if something had changed with instant hit. My sensitivity is off yet I have been getting quite a lot of instant hit shots in "mayhem" situations... it's like the reverse of the infamous non-regs.

                            There are less and less stats in the game and I fear for balanced games.

                            I think Epic also need to start thinking about whether these new game modes are really bringing anything new or are they even better than the community mods like Elimination and assault. Consider where the best use of time could be spent.

                              I'm pretty sure that overall player stats will disagree with you about sniper being OP. Instead, they'll show you more than plenty of CTF players that have 60%-80%+ kills with either only flak, rockets or both together. If you don't believe me, let me browse through some of the profiles in my friends list and post the stats. Flak really isn't only being used for melee, it's being used (effectively) for mid-range as well and sometimes even further. The secondary buff was completely unnecessary, it was already pretty **** powerful when used correctly. It's only weak for long-range, hell, any projectile weapons should be weak against long-range, that's what we got hit-scan for. You're basically saying that players should be punished for having good aim, I don't see the logic in that, having good aim is considered a skill, spamming flak and rockets at everybody in front of you isn't really, very few of the players that spam rockets and flak are actually good at using either weapons, yet they still keep racking up the most ridiculous kills because the weapons reward spam-shots just as much as aimed shots.

                              If I have to describe the average public CTF match right now, it's either "rocket spam", "flak spam" or "stombo fest", depending on who is playing, with generally tons and tons of camping at base, because that's the most effective tactic. It's definitely not "sniper fest", I've only seen that happen once or twice with very hitscan-heavy players, but it's not the norm at all, at least not on EU. It's not as if hit-scan in this game is easy, with all the awkward animations that seem to be twice as confusing when playing at high ping and bad player visual clarity in general. I bet that sniper has the least overall kills made with it in CTF compared across the board, not counting enforcer/hammer/bio. Maybe stinger has less, dunno.

                              I agree about minimum damage for splash though (including combo), it should just go away, players shouldn't be rewarded for badly placed shots.
