I want to change the parental control or guardian email for my child’s account

If you want to change the parental control or guardian email on your child’s Epic Games account, or if you can’t reset the PIN because you no longer have access to that email, follow the steps below based on your situation.

• If you have not yet completed the parental consent process for your child’s Epic Games account:

  • You can change the guardian email in the Account Settings of your child’s Epic Games account.

  • To complete the parental consent process, follow the steps from How do I complete the parental consent process?

• If you have completed the parental consent process and you still have access to the guardian email:

  • Contact our parent/guardian support team via our dedicated guardian intake form: Epic Games Parent/Guardian Support (Opens in a new tab)

    Note: In the guardian intake form, you will need to verify access to the guardian email.

• If you have completed the parental consent process and you no longer have access to the guardian email:

  • Try to regain access to the email account by contacting your email provider.

  • If you cannot regain access:

    1. Log in (Opens in a new tab) using your child's Epic Games account that you wish to update its guardian email.

    2. Submit a support request to get help from our team.
