Why do I see IS-EO errors when using the Epic Games Launcher?

We are aware that some players are receiving IS-EO errors while using the Epic Games Launcher.

Our team is investigating this issue. In the meantime, you can try restarting the launcher and making sure it is up to date.

1. Exit any games that are currently running, including games launched through other launchers.
2. Exit and restart the Epic Games Launcher. Refer to How to restart the Epic Games Launcher.
3. Make sure that your launcher is updated. Refer to Update the Epic Games Launcher.
4. Uninstall all Epic Games-related files from the Control Panel, and make sure that no files remain that are related to Epic Games. You can consult the following article from Microsoft: Uninstall or remove apps and programs in Windows (Opens in a new tab)
5. You can try clicking retry multiple times, as the issue can sometimes resolve on its own.
