How to use your Epic Rewards on the Epic Games Store

Epic Rewards is a cashback program that gives you a percentage of eligible Epic Games Store purchases back as store credit.

How much do you earn?

From 5% to 20% when you make purchases using Epic’s payment system.

Console store purchases and in-game purchases not made through the Epic Games Store checkout do not earn Epic Rewards. Rewards are added immediately for virtual currency and subscriptions, 14 days after purchase for refundable items, and 14 days after release for pre-orders.

To use your Epic Rewards at checkout:

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher or Epic Games Store website. (Opens in a new tab)
2. Find the item you want to purchase and add it to your cart.
3. Click Cart. If you have an Epic Rewards balance, you'll see it on this page.
4. Click Check Out.
5. Select Epic Rewards as your payment option. Note: Epic Rewards will only be selectable if you have a balance.
6. Click PLACE ORDER.

Epic Rewards can be used on the Epic Games Store and in participating games that use Epic's checkout, such as Fortnite. They cannot be used for Fortnite Crew subscriptions and have no cash value.
