Fortnite gift cards are replacing V-Bucks cards, but you might still find V-Bucks cards in some stores. Here's how to tell them apart.



Fortnite gift cards

Fortnite gift cards contain a value and a currency, and they can be spent on all items mentioned above.

  1. How to spot the card

    • The front of the card says Fortnite Gift Card and shows an amount of money, like $30.

  2. Where to find your code

    • Your code is on the back of the card. It's 16 digits long.

    • If you can't see it, peel off the silver strip on the back. Don't scratch it, since that can damage the code.

    • No code on your card? Check your store receipt. Some stores print the code there instead.

V-Bucks cards

V-Bucks cards contain a number of V-Bucks that will be added to your account once redeemed. They can only be used for V-Bucks.

    • The front of the card shows a number of V-Bucks, like 1,000 V-Bucks.

  2. Where to find your code

    • Your code is on the back of the card, under a scratch-off panel. It's 16 digits long.
