My console display name hasn't updated on my Epic Games Linked accounts page

If you decide to update your console display name, you may notice that the name doesn't immediately update in your Epic Games account's Linked accounts (Opens in a new tab) page. This is expected, and it might take a while to sync the information between the platforms.

If you wish to visualize the new console account display name immediately on our website, you will need to unlink and relink your console account to the Epic Games account, following these steps: 

1. Visit your Linked accounts (Opens in a new tab) page.
2. Select Unlink below the console account on which you changed the display name. Then continue following the on-screen prompts to complete unlinking
    
3. After the account is unlinked, select the Link button below the platform account you just unlinked. 
    
4. You will see a prompt to log into that console account. Once you do this, the account will be successfully linked and a new display name will show for that console.
