How do I reset my PIN for Parental Controls on my Epic account?

To reset your PIN for Parental Controls on your Epic Games account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://www.epicgames.com/account/parental-controls (Opens in a new tab) and log in to your child's account.
  2. If you are mainly playing on consoles, make sure that you are logged into the same Epic Games account. The best way to do it is to compare the Account ID on the website to the in-game Account ID, they have to be the same.   3. Enter your 6-digit PIN and click CONFIRM.
    Note: If you don't remember your PIN, click Forgot your PIN?, and then CONFIRM. You'll receive an email with instructions to reset your PIN. For accounts that belong to Minors, the PIN reset email will be sent to the parent/guardian email address associated with the account.

  4. At the top of the page, under PARENTAL PIN click Change PIN.
     
  5. Enter the new PIN that you want to use in the pop-up window and click on CHANGE PIN.
