Troubleshooting Fortnite not Launching on Xbox

If your Fortnite is not launching on Xbox or may launch until the connecting page then closes out redirecting you back to the Xbox library page, here are some steps that can help you troubleshoot these issues.

  1. Check if restarting the Game will solve the issue

  2. Check for Fortnite Updates On Xbox
    1. Quit or make sure Fortnite is closed
    2. Press the Xbox to open the guide and select My games & apps > See all > Games.
    3. Select Fortnite, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
    4. Select Manage game and add-ons >select Updates.

  3. Try clearing the Xbox cache.

    Sometimes gameplay can be affected by corrupted profile data on the Xbox console. To check if this is the case, launch Fortnite on a different profile you have on the console. If you can play the game with a different profile, remove and re-add the profile.

  5. Delete your Xbox local save and re-syncing with the cloud to correct any corrupt data.

    7. Try to launch the Game again
