How do I set up local multiplayer on Nintendo Switch to play Rocket League?

You can play Rocket League locally with friends on Nintendo Switch using its local wireless play feature, even without an internet connection. 

Local wireless play creates a direct wireless connection between nearby consoles. One Switch acts as the host and creates a private lobby. Others can join if they are within range.

To access it:

1. From the main menu, select Play
2. Select Play Local
3. Select either: 
   • Host Local Lobby to create a local match
   • Join Local Lobby to connect to a friend's local match

Note: All consoles must be in close physical proximity for the best connection quality.
