IS-FC-01 or IS-FC02-5 error

This error occurs when the launcher fails to create a file during the install or patch process. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Free up hard drive space.  There are several ways to free up hard drive space on your computer. Please visit this Microsoft article for instructions on ways to do this: Free up drive space in Windows (Opens in a new tab)
2. Uninstall and reinstall your game. 
   1. Uninstall your game. Follow the steps in How do I uninstall a game in the Epic Games Launcher?
   2. Reinstall your game.
3. Flush your DNS.  Follow the steps in How do I flush my DNS on Windows to improve my connection to Epic Games servers?
