Fortnite crashes on PC when using a Shield Bubble

We’re aware of an issue where Fortnite may crash on PC if a Shield Bubble is used near you. 

To reduce the chance of crashing while we are investigating, switch your rendering mode to DirectX 12 Performance mode. 

1. Launch Fortnite.
2. Press Esc and select the Settings gear icon.
3. In the Video tab (monitor icon), locate the Rendering Mode.
4. Select Performance.
5. Click Apply to save your changes.
6. Restart Fortnite for the changes to take effect.
