How do I play Rocket League in split-screen on Nintendo Switch?

You can play Rocket League with a friend locally by following the steps below.

Single Joy-Con Setup

Each player uses 1 Joy-Con.

1. Start Rocket League on your Switch.
2. Player 2: Press the Minus Button (-) on your Joy-Con.
3. Player 2: Log in to your Nintendo account or select Skip to use a temporary local profile.
4. Both Players: Confirm your controller by pressing down the SL and SR buttons at the same time.

Two Joy-Con/Pro Controller Setup

1. Start Rocket League on your Switch.
2. Player 2: Press the Plus Button (+) on your Joy-Con or your Pro Controller.
3. Player 2: Log in to your Nintendo account or select Skip to use a temporary local profile.
4. Both Players: Confirm your controller by pressing down the L and R buttons at the same time.

Once confirmed, Player 2 will then join the party, and you can play any Offline or Online mode together! You can play with up to 2 players in Handheld Mode and up to 4 players in Docked Mode.
