I refunded a cosmetic item in Fortnite but I didn't receive the V-Bucks back
After a refund, V-Bucks are usually returned within a few minutes. If they have not appeared, follow these steps:
- Open the Fortnite Item shop (Opens in a new tab) and click the V-Bucks refresh button in the top right to update your balance.
- Confirm you are signed in to the correct Epic Games account - the one where the refund was processed.
- Check your In-Game Currency (Opens in a new tab) to see if the V-Bucks were returned to a different balance. If the item was originally purchased using a platform balance (such as Nintendo), the V-Bucks will be refunded to that platform balance, not your shared wallet. - Restart Fortnite and check your balance again.
