Why don't all of my V-Bucks transfer across platforms?
Some V-Bucks are shared across platforms, while others are locked to the platform where they were purchased. This can cause your V-Bucks balance to look different depending on where you play.
How V-Bucks sharing works
Most platforms support the Fortnite Shared Wallet, which allows certain V-Bucks to be used across multiple devices.
V-Bucks purchased on Nintendo Switch are not shared with other platforms and cannot be used in the Fortnite Web Shop.
Note: For players in Korea, V-Bucks purchased on PC are not shared with other platforms.
Examples of how balances may appear
Example 1: 1,000 V-Bucks purchased on PC
- Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Android show 1,000 V-Bucks.
- Nintendo Switch shows 0 V-Bucks.
Example 2: 1,000 V-Bucks purchased on Nintendo Switch
- Nintendo Switch shows 1,000 V-Bucks.
- Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Android show 0 V-Bucks.
Example 3: 1,000 V-Bucks purchased on PlayStation and 500 V-Bucks earned from the Battle Pass
- Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Android show 1,500 V-Bucks.
- Nintendo Switch shows 500 V-Bucks.
What is shared across all platforms
The restrictions above apply only to purchased V-Bucks, including those purchased on the Epic Games Store or Fortnite Web Shop.
V-Bucks earned through Fortnite Passes, Quest Packs, or Save the World are shared across all platforms.
Any items you purchase with V-Bucks are available on all platforms where you play Fortnite.
