Exploring Game Add-ons and Editions

Certain games will have DLCs (Downloadable Content) that can enhance or add content to your game. They may also have different editions or versions. 

To explore this content follow these steps: 

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
2. Find the game in your Epic Games Library.
3. Click the three dots on the right side of the game line
4. Choose Explore Addons. 
   • This option shows when the game has additional content available. 

Purchasing Add-ons or Editions

It’s important to note the difference between purchasing DLCs versus Editions: 

• DLCs may add minor content to the game that you already own (e.g. in-game currency or expansion packs). Purchasing this additional content usually leads to a seamless experience in your progression. 
• Game Editions typically contain the base game plus some additional content, and may cause some changes to your progress. 
  • Note: When purchasing editions, the system will warn you that your purchase will make a change to the existing game in your library. This will not add the new edition to your library but will replace what you already own.
