What are Rocket League Titles and how do I get them?

Titles are Rocket League items that you can add to your player banner. When equipped, your Titles are seen by all players in the match. They are displayed below your display name on the scoreboard and during goal replays.
Titles can be unlocked through the Rocket Pass, Auto Tournaments, Season Reward rank placement, limited-time events, Community Spotlight (in the Shop), and Esports prizes. Titles can also be different colors, based on how you obtained them. 

In-game Competitive Auto Tournament Titles

To earn a Tournament Winner Title, you must win in a Competitive Tournament. Tournament Winner Titles vary and depend on your current Tournament Rank. 

• Supersonic Legend
  • 1 win in the same rank: White
  • 3 wins in the same rank: Pink
• Grand Champion
  • 1 win in the same rank: Grey
  • 3 wins in the same rank:  Red
• Champion and below
  • 1 win in the same rank: Grey
  • 3 wins in the same rank: Green

If you leave any match from a tournament early, you will not receive any rewards, including Tournament Credits and Titles. Refer to the Penalties section in What are Competitive Auto Tournaments in Rocket League?

Season Reward Titles

At the start of each new Season, you’ll receive Season Rewards based on your rank if you’re eligible. If you reach Grand Champion or Super Sonic Legend rank, you will earn a Title. Grand Champion Titles are red; Super Sonic Legend Titles are white. If you didn’t receive one or believe you should have, please note that there are different reasons why you may not have received one:

• Season Rewards and their Titles may take 1-2 days to arrive after the new Season starts
• Any players found abusing the matchmaking system are excluded from any Season Reward Items or Titles, no matter what reward level they reach.
• You may not have won enough matches in a rank to earn ranked rewards. See What are Rocket League Season Rewards? 

You did not participate in any ranked game modes. Refer to What are Rocket League Season Rewards?

Rocket Pass Titles

A variety of Titles can be unlocked from the Rocket Pass in both Free and Premium tracks. Remember, some Titles require Rocket Pass Premium. Players who have Rocket Pass Premium have a chance to unlock more Titles. 

Limited-Time Events

Limited-time events may offer opportunities to earn Titles through different challenges. Challenge requirements must be met to unlock an event Title. These are limited and only available during the event.

Community Spotlight

Community Spotlight highlights someone in the Rocket League community, while giving players a chance to claim a free Title in the Shop. You can claim these Titles in the shop when they’re available.
